The hunger for success and financial freedom, the only thing that motivates me, propelling me forward towards the uncertainty of the future. I crave a kind of peace, one that comes from having a knowledge of unlimited wealth, of being able to afford any desires of vanity.   Photo credit: Google images I am not of the world, so the things of the world are of little value to me compared to the wonders of my world. I may in time acquire a lot of worldly belongings but nothing I have is truly mine because I know a day will come when I shall depart from all of it. My desires of success and unlimited wealth is not so that I can wallow in sin, committing all kinds of atrocities and paying my way out of any repercussions. I hope to inspire a new breed of people, to gradually eradicate the problems of community and promote the discovery of talents.   ...

I've seen a lot of people who act tough and people who don't think that killing another person is a big deal. They can even apologize if caught and promise not to do it again. These people don't fear death, they've caused the deaths of so many people that they are so intimate with death, most times they never imagine themselves being at the other end of the table, of having their life hanging with uncertainty.   Photo credit: Google images So again the question is " are you afraid to die?" I've seen people act holy and righteous, saying prayers to the almighty being, the creator of humanity. These people are not afraid to die, because of their beliefs in the promise of an afterlife paradise. They cling to their faith and endless pursuits of hoping to be worthy enough for eternal life. I lay down in bed with my fingers entwined behind my head and stare up at the ceiling, I wish you had never left because I crave your touch and the feel of your skin. "You're making a big mistake trusting her so easily." Photo credit: Google images The world tries to hypnotize the rastaman, trying desperately to get into the mind of the Rastafarian, to change a rasta from being his true self, giving thanks and praise to the most high jah.  They fight against the rastaman everyday. Though the rastaman never did anything wrong, his only offense being his righteousness. Photo credit: Google images A Rastafarian is a model member of the community. A rastaman never commit crime, a rastaman is full of thanksgiving, a rastaman is a truthful man, a rastaman is a happy man.  The hypocrites wear dreadlocks and try to impersonate a rasta, but natty dread is filled with hate and violence, not giving thanks and proudly exhibiting their pomposity. Photo credit: Google images There was something someone said to me once, he said " everything wey dey exist, na one person start am" for those who can't read Nigerian pidgin English that simply translates to " everything existing was started by one person ".  This made me wonder, what if that person after having the thoughts of being a pioneer, decided not to pursue it? How much time did it take before the thoughts and ideas were ready to be revealed to the world? Because if there's anything I've learnt about the human nature is that the fear of the unknown makes humans defensive and possibly aggressive.  There is a set precedent in human sociocultural characteristics, where everyone is expected to conform to what is considered to be the norm of the society depending on the prevailing culture. Photo credit: Google images As the number one citizen of the country, the President is the most popular person albeit the most relevant person and is accorded a lot of privileges and comfort. This is probably the reason why the President cannot come to terms with the immense sufferings plaguing the majority of the masses in the country.  The ills of poverty, unemployment, starvation and malnutrition, inflation, lack of basic social amenities and infrastructure, insecurity and terrorism seems like too much of a burden for one man to carry. So instead of exerting his strength and powers trying to vanquish an age long malady. I can only assume that the president is advised that the people of his country have gotten toughened by the long years of sufferings, because it is a common saying that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
