Photo credit: Google images Its a lot of hassle when some people almost never seem to forget about the past. Like life hasn't happened since the last time we met or talked. Sometimes I chalk it all up to them trying to "make small talk" but most times it just gets so annoying. I Got a phone call from an old buddy of mine and he just kept on saying things and bringing up stuff from way back when we were younger and a lot juvenile and at the end of the call, I got a recall of a song that made a lot of sense back when I first heard it but not much sense after I downloaded and just finished listening it. Photo credit: Google images Its Jayz featuring Swiss beats in a song titled "On to the next one". The verses totally throws me off but the chorus drives home my point. I leave the past behind people I'm always moving on "on to the next one" Download and listen to JayZ feat Swiss beats in "On to the next one" PLEASE

Listening to Enya's "May it be" on repeat on a saturday morning.

Image
Photo credit: Google images Its a beautiful saturday morning. The last saturday in the month of february which also happens to be the last day of the month of february. So my playlist got shuffled while I was listening to some music and Irish singer Enya's lord of the rings single "May it be" came on. I listened once, then twice and somehow I just couldn't help myself. Photo credit: Google images It been such a long time I heard this song play, didn't even know I had it on my playlist. So I did the next thing I could and hit the repeat button and right now I've totally lost count of how many times its been playing. There's a chill breeze blowing and storm clouds threatening rain making Enya's "May it be" song so right for this saturday morning. Download and listen to Enya's "may it be" and have a beautiful saturday morning PLEASE BE SOCIABLE: LIKE, FOLLOW AND SHARE OUR POSTS Tweet Follow @SAGE_BEATS

New street sensation "Kiss Daniels Woju".

Image
Photo credit: Google images Kiss Daniels "Woju" is one song that's banging almost everywhere I go. At the Central business district and even at the most remote rural areas of town. Here at the Sage Music Group, we have noted that Kiss Daniels "Woju" is the first track on our playlist this year that's banging everywhere around town. Photo credit: Google images Photo credit: Google images With much love and respect for Dj Coublon for producing a dope joint on which the vocals of Kiss Daniels totally made some sense. Here's a link for you to go download and enjoy "Woju" by Kiss Daniels Also heard there's a remix featuring none other than Mavins first lady "Tiwa Savage" and HKN's Davido. Would air my views later............downloading 3%. PLEASE BE SOCIABLE: LIKE, FOLLOW AND SHARE OUR POSTS Tweet Follow @SAGE_BEATS

Maybach music boss "Rick Ross" wants a piece of some Dolphins action.

Image
Photo credit: Google images I follow one of the most influential names in world hiphop music and one of the world's biggest music icon and biggest boss of the untouchable music empire "The Maybach Music Group", The one and only Rick Ross. Photo credit: Google images And according to TMZ William Leonard Roberts II aka Rick Ross has been on a bid to acquire minority ownership of the Miami Dolphins like some other known celebrities the likes of Serena Williams, Gloria Estefan and others had managed to do. Photo credit: Google images Rick Ross who reportedly met with the dolphins officials last year and proposed his ability and willingness to buy into a piece of the action has had his dream placed on hold as allegedly its the Dolphins management who gets to have the final say on which rich peoples funds are acceptable by the team and when to invite such investment options from such rich persons. Remember Essence's Facebook Love?

Image
Photo credit: Google images Once upon a time, there was so much love on social media, "Nimbuzz, Badoo, 2go, Whatsapp, Twitter, BBM and most especially on Facebook". Which then brought us one of the most successful song sang by Nigerian singer Okoro Uwale popularly known as "Essence" featuring Jaywon and which she titled "Facebook Love". Photo credit: Google images Photo credit: Google images Made me remember a time when changing one's facebook profile picture, replying messages and liking someone's post or comment on facebook used to be such a big deal. I'm more in love with Ot Genasis "coco" song than he is with some coco!

Image
Photo credit: Google images I'm back now in my end of the jungle with the weekend over and another couple of week days to go to another weekend again. Well anyway I just realized that I had downloaded Ot Genasis "Coco" song on a friends phone and not mine. So had to go download and listen to it again. Photo credit: Google images And though it's obvious that Ot Genasis has got some really strong love for his cocaina. I just discovered that I probably do love this new addition to my playlist a lot more than OT Genasis would ever love his coco. Epic #throwback picture of Rapper Phyno and singer Runtown.

Image
I know we all didn't look so good growing up, most of us at least, unlike the Ajebutter kids we had to watch being dropped off at school by their daddies or paid drivers. Photo Credit: Google images But seeing this #throwback picture of Phyno and Runtown, is enough evidence of God's favour and an inspiration to give hope to all little kids and teens with dreams and hopes of becoming big someday. Photo Credit: GistPartner Though I do wonder what it was Phyno was thinking about and why Runtown had his hands out like that, plus what year was this picture taken because it's been a while since singlets/vests were a trend. Its Ed Sheeran Vs Sam Smith contending for most played song on my playlist.

Image
Photo Credit: Google images I've got so much of Ed Sheeran's music on my playlist and the only other music artist whose songs almost match and compete with Ed's on that list is Sam Smith. Photo Credit: Google images So these days when I hit the shuffle button on my playlist, it's either I get an Ed Sheeran song or a Sam Smith song. Though I've got lots of other music on my playlist, some hiphop, a lot of Nigerian songs, some rock music, alil bit of reggae music and jazz. Somehow the shuffle option almost always manages to spit out an Ed or a Sam. Photo Credit: Google images So here's links to download two of my favourite Sam Smith songs " Lay Me Down" And "I'm Not the Only One" Photo Credit: Google images And here's links to download two of my favourite Ed Sheeran songs. "OT Genasis Coco" One song my sisters don't love.

Image
It's a lovely sunday afternoon, one of the days of the week which I try to share with my family. Talking shop, watching funny videos and just being a family. And on today's menu special was OT Genasis "Coco". Lamarr Smith aka OT Genasis, cocaine sniffing, guns popping and coco singing American rapper got dissed a lot by my sisters who felt that at his age he probably should be doing something better with his life like for instance him being the brains behind a new and life changing technological invention or maybe even organising a music talent show like Simon Cowell of the Uk's X-Factor. It's Lamarr Smith aka Ot Genasis, rocking the sage music group with his hit song "Coco" and if you haven't heard it yet. Here's a link for you, go download and listen PLEASE BE SOCIABLE: LIKE, FOLLOW AND SHARE OUR POSTS Tweet Follow @SAGE_BEATS

Tony Ross produced a nice beat and Cynthia Morgan sang shit to it.

Image
Photo credit: Google images Tony Ross to me is a family name. But funny stuff that happens these days is when people talk about people and people keep asking in Nigerian Pigin "Who E Don Help?". Photo credit: Google images Tony ross sent me a link to Cynthia Morgan's latest single "German Juice" produced by non-other but Tony Ross himself. Though It took me some time to finally download and listen to it. I think its safe to say that Cynthia Morgan is one artist who Tony Ross as a producer has helped climb up the industry's ladder a bit. Photo credit: Google images I'm not a critic but its my personal opinion that the German Juice song by Cynthia Morgan was probably sung under the influence of "Whatever" she gets high on. For me it's total trash but I keep wondering if that's her Bootay on display on the song cover art. Photo credit: 360nobs I don't want to be the only one catching feelings on this son

When Nigerian Auto Mechanics Sing!

Image
Two days ago, I spent about 8 hours at an auto mechanic workshop owned by three Nigerian men of Yoruba origin named Late, Kola and Sukanmi. I have never before spent so much time in the company of auto mechanics and actually enjoy myself so much that I almost regretted leaving them even after my work was done. Late, Kola, and Sukanmi rendered several Nigerian hit songs to the best of their singing powers with their thick Yoruba accent slopping and sloshing all over, changing dramatically the lyrics of every song they decided to literally murder. But its with lots of love for these three Nigerians who are very hard working men with passions for singing horribly and acting so comically that their bad vocals and lack of the singing talent could actually be considered as one of the most entertaining performance I ever did have the fortune to experience that I write this post. If you've never heard the sound of my beat before, Here's Mash.

Image
Well my alter ego is a personality which I created and named Sagebeats, but not many people have heard of my beats. This is mainly because the music industry is a whole competitive mess and besides I do this just for the fun and of course because I can. But just in case you have wondered, here's a link to download a beat produced by myself "Sagebeats" and titled "Mash" the story behind this beat is a funny one but one I'd have to share with y'all later hopefully I'd remember to. Dr Sid's "Oyari" Vs men of the Nigerian Police Force.

Image
On my way to work this morning I was confronted by the Nigerian police force on my left and a record selling store on my right playing Dr Sid's "Oyari" featuring Mavins first lady Tiwa Savage and produced by Mavin records. Photo credit: Google images And while it's popular saying that "THE POLICE IS YOUR FRIEND" we find out in reality that the only friend a policeman keeps comes from the fold of his own fellow policemen, blood relatives, pastor and/or in-laws. Photo credit: Google images So naturally like a full fledged Nigerian that I am, I crossed the street from the left to the right and entered into the record selling store, looked around for a bit and waited till the last beat of Dr Sid's Oyari faded from the Speakers and when the policemen weren't paying any attention I came out and went on my way. Photo credit: Google images So Dr Sid's Oyari is one song tested and approved for the overcoming of the men of the Nige
