We watch the day go by.
Photo credit: Google images The first second of the day caught me fluttering open my eyelids, disoriented for but just a few seconds. I’m alive again. Somehow; I can never tell how it is decided who wakes up out of slumber and who doesn’t, neither can anybody else I imagine. My next thought is of you. God, I do hope you are alright, alive and well. Photo credit: Google images I rise up and embrace the new dawn, with as much enthusiasm as I can muster, nothing to be scared of, nothing but my own decisions. I hope nothing I choose comes up to bite me in the ass later. It wouldn’t be the first time though, but I’ve learnt that it’s always safer and way better to be happy and contented about my choices than otherwise. You made me realise just how much one decision can change everything for the rest of one’s life. And I’m so glad that I get to think of you. Even more glad to have been introduced.
