Compare Wizkid's "Expensive shit" to Fela Anikulakpo kuti's!!!

Image
Photo credit: Google images Wizkid dropped a new single recently which he titled "Expensive Shit" and during my research I came across Baba Fela Anikulakpo Ransom Kuti's own song titled "Expensive shit" done in the year 1975 following an intriguing story which involved the Nigerian police, baba Fela, indian hemp and a piece of legendary shit from Eleda mi. Photo credit: Google images So it became paramount for me to unearth a link for this song perfomed decades ago by the late Afrobeat king and activist Baba Fela Kuti, so the new generation of Nigerians at home and in diaspora might have a listen to this creative piece of Nigerian history by the one and only Fela Anikulakpo Kuti. Download now and listen to Fela in "Expensive Shit" Photo credit: Google images Meanwhile big shout out to Wizkid, bringing back memories of the past to the future with this new Fela inspired song. Photo credit: Google images Naturally I downloaded this new tune, but I decided to keep my opinions to myself. Wizkid in "Expensive Shit!!!" Respect to the man "Baba Fela"

Image
Photo credit: Google images Star Boy Wizkid comes again with a new joint that's banging and brought for me some new insights to the legendary man "Baba Fela Anikulakpo Kuti". Photo credit: Google images While Wizkid sings about his illegal women demanding expensive shit, Baba Fela back in the days actually played out some real drama that had to do with his own shit (faeces). Photo credit: Google images After swallowing a wrap of Indian hemp, he got arrested by the police, their intention was to test his excrement for THC but then the results came out negative after testing which then brings us to some very expensive shit. Photo credit: Google images The twelfth full-lenght studio album by Afrobeat Pioneer Fela Ransome Kuti was then titled "Expensive shit". Photo credit: Google images A very big #Shoutout to Star Boy Wizzy for his great tunes. So like always here's a link for you to go download and cop a feel of this ne

Wanna turn "Baby Daddy"???---Here's Iyanya's new song.

Image
Photo credit: Google images "It's Iyanya" Well that's the usual intro to an Iyanya song and this time it's Iyanya singing about becoming a baby daddy. Photo credit: Google images While fathering a baby is supposed to be a great feeling, one that inspires responsibility in a man, these days we've got men getting reckless women pregnant then leaving them alone to bring up these kids as single mothers. And the coining of a new terms of words to categorize these new set of unmarried parents gave birth to the word "Baby Daddies" and "Baby Mamas" Photo credit: Google images Meanwhile here's a link for you to download and listen to Iyanya in "Baby Daddy" PLEASE BE SOCIABLE: LIKE, FOLLOW AND SHARE OUR POSTS Tweet Follow @SAGE_BEATS

The day is bright, it's bright & fair. (Mama jollof rice.)

Image
Photo credit: Google images So I sat reminiscing about a time past in my life. Way back in primary and secondary schools, learning to speak fluent English Language, the Additions, Subtractions and further mathematics amongst other subjects. But most outstanding about that time were the songs we sang growing up in school. None of them won any music awards back then and I'm almost certain none would win any now. (Not in the present times we find ourselves living in.) Photo credit: Google images Here's the Lyrics to my favourite song back then: shoutout to all who knows this song. "The day is bright, it's bright and fair, oh happy day, the day of joy. The day is bright, it's bright and fair, oh happy day of joy". Then for the fun of it overzealous persons like myself would scream out "mama jollof rice" just because it pisses off one of the frustrated school teachers whose job it was to try and educate us stubborn youngsters. 0 to 100 (It's time to survive and catch up)

Image
Photo credit: Google images It's been a hectic struggle, funny enough it wouldn't be life if it wasn't so fucked up. Photo credit: Google images Big #Shoutout to every one who ever was crazy enough to get hated upon and shot down with no hope of ever getting back up. All you've got to know is how to live life in reverse, take some steps back and make up for the errors in your past. Photo credit: Google images Because when all debts has been paid in full, it's gonna be from 0 to 100 real quick and all the people who hated upon hoping that ship won't sail would have to pay their allegiance. But that's only if somehow you manage to survive and succeed. Photo credit: Google images So here's a link to go download and listen to Drake's 0 to 100 "the catch up". Let's hope it gets you there. What if you hadn't seen the day? (2pac Shakur "Life goes on".)

Image
So it's a sunday again and while most people are dressed up in their sunday's finest heading over to a church for worship, hoping and praying and thanksgiving for God's intervention in their lives. I'm here coped up in my room wondering what would have happened if I hadn't woken up to see the day again. Photo credit: Google images No more breath left in my lungs, no more love for the vanities in my life, no more dreams to be realized and my sweet love for my girl all gone. Photo credit: Google images Would I be just another dude to bite the dust who didn't make it to the highlights, with not much accomplishments to my name? Because it's just my world that'd be over because life would go on with or without my existence. Photo credit: Google images Taking consolation in God, family and music I live on till that day I wake up to see myself on top or till the day I don't see the earth no more at all.... Because life woul

EVA ALORDIAH: "What These Bitches Want" (DMX. cover)

Image
Photo credit: Google images So I'm a big DMX fan and "What these bitches want" is one of my favourite DMX song ever. Released as the third official single from his third studio album... And Then There Was X (1999) . featuring Def Soul singer "Sisqo" and was billed on the front cover as "The Biggest in Rap meets The Biggest in R&B". Photo credit: Google images So then you can imagine my excitement when I read online that one of my favorite Nigerian female rapper "Eva Alordiah" did a cover of the song. Photo credit: Google images Next step was to download this new tune and have a listen. And now it's Eva Alordiah's cover of "What these bitches want." That's rocking on my latest downloads playlist. So if you're a true fan of the "Dog" and the "lady Eva". Here's a link to go download "What these bitches want" Eva's cover. PLEASE BE SOCIABLE: LIKE, FOL

CYNTHIA MORGAN: Bringing out the cow!!!

Image
Photo credit: Google images Cynthia Morgan: Popular female Nigerian reggaeton and dancehall superstar signed to Northside's Music Inc, reputably owned and ran by Jude Okoye, elder brother to the P Square singing duo.     Well, that's not really what's important right now, or anything close to what I really want to write about. Photo credit: Google images Not too long ago Cynthia Morgan shocked fans and haters alike when she revealed her new look rocking a wonderfully large nose ring. And even went ahead taking shots at her haters on social media and was quoted to have said. Teach love not hate! Haters are weak people n well they fans too... And FYI I ain't taking of my nose ring until I'm tired of it. You don't like the nose piercing? Get your eyes pierced so you don't see it... Shabba!" Photo credit: Google images The first time I saw Cynthia Morgan's nose ring; though charming it may look on her, I could have sworn that
