Can't Help But Go Back To The Days of December.

When I'm under the weather, can't help but go back to the days of December.
All of the cheer and anticipatory preparation for just a day of celebration.
Christmas night dinner, turkey and pies. Kisses under the mistletoe and
making angels in the snow.
Lovers become closer and romance blossom, carolers roam freely singing
Christmas carols and trying to spread cheer.
Santa Claus and his big bag of goodies, and Rudolph the red nosed reindeer
leading the pack of Santa's reindeer.

When i'm under the weather, can't help but go back to the days of December.
Drowning my sorrows and worries in an ocean of pleasant memories.
Though not all days bring joy, because I remember the brawl last year
December that got me a black eye on the 21st, just four days to Christmas.
Now it all seems like nothing, like December holds the best and worst
memories of my life.

When i'm under the weather, can't help but go back to the days of December.
They always seem to straighten me out.
Either the good memories lifts up my spirit or the bad memories tell a
story of a time that was way worse than the present.
Can't help but go back to the days of December, can't help but remember the
last days of the years gone by.
