Bandana round my head like i'm Makaveli.

Gansta is not an anti-social phenomenon. It's just the result of too much self consciousness, and the realisation that the government and it's system and these streets won't let up the pressure of making money so difficult to earn.
With the dream of being rich and alleviating poverty, just politics.
Anything you want, you got to take for yourself.
Legally or illegally, doesn't matter. Get rich or die trying.
Always remember there's got to be repercussions for every action, for good or for evil.
So when I go they gon remember me like i'm Makaveli, bandana round my head like i'm Makaveli.

Nothing ever changes, and everyday's gon be forever the same.
Make money and be relevant, lack money and be oppressed.
And in the streets gangstas steady doing drugs, awaiting the release of their comrades in the penitentiary.
Rat race living, couple of hit tracks before the album went platinum.
Gold chains and wristwatches, mama needs a bigger house and a chauffeur,
All dreams fulfilled, living the dream, before the haters becomes opposition.
It always ends in the street, little young uns become wannabes and the women become accessories, just before the late night drive by outside the club that leads to a gangsta ending up in a morgue.
But until then, gold chains, diamond blings and gold wristwatches, bandana round my head like i'm Makaveli.
