Yesterday! A day gone by, a tale already told, history recorded, a day younger, time lost never to be reclaimed. Yesterday.
I was so much younger yesterday, with my naivety so endearing, my beliefs so innocent and my philosophies so pure and uncontaminated with evil.
So many yesterdays ago, when I walked the earth ignorant to the woes that befell lost souls awaiting redemption. Yesterday when my longings remained as simple as an infant suckling on its mother's breast. Yesterday when my angels watched over me eagerly, ready to devour every enemy, demons and opposition.

Salvation! How could I tell? I never knew what it would feel like. I didn't know that I was starving till I tasted you. Because starving was the norm of my yesterday.
With nothing to satisfy my longing soul and its hunger for warmth and company. And then you came and did things to my body that reached down to my very soul and filled me with so much love and happiness.
I didn't know that I was starving till I tasted you.

And now my yesterdays tell of a new tale of feelings so heightened by love and knowledge of a face so beautiful and etched deeply in my memories.
Old now and armed with the wisdom of the past and memories of beautiful emotions, something inside me has changed. "I was so much younger yesterday".
