Heaven for a gangster...

Lord forgive me, for I am a horrible sinner and try as I might i can't find a way to do without sin living this lifestyle I lead. Being a gangster wasn't an ambition I prayed for, it is more of a defense mechanism I had to build to survive my environment.

I have been to funerals and have dug a grave twice. That makes me a whole lot conscious about death. And with just about every one talking about heaven after death I'm forced to wonder if that's a dream a gangster should pay any attention to. Is there a place for gangsters in paradise I wonder.

Chasing these streets leaves no room for a gangster to want to be righteous. All we can pray for is peace when we pass out from these cold streets but where then do we go. Paradise? I don't know. But if there is a ghetto in heaven, I know I'd be there.
