I'm in love with a pretty little girl, who really might be way out of my league, because
I never could afford the trips it'd take to get her excited, I never could afford the jewelries or perfumes she's so used to wearing. I never could take the risk of asking for her hand in marriage, somehow I know she'd turn me down.
All I have to offer is my precious heart, but I lost that to her already. My waking moments, my working minutes, my resting moments and the times when I slumber in unconsciousness. Everything revolves around the ultimate goal of being man enough for her.

But I'm just a country boy, money have I none. And everyday I'm older with my goal no where in sight. Just the music we sang together once upon a time playing over and over in my mind, and the memories of her dimples and laughter urging me to keep moving forward.
I'm just a country boy, money have I none, but ideas and a romantic heart are my gifts and my love for her the ultimate treasure for which I endure every cross and trials.
Inspired by a classic and its Don Williams singing "I'm just a country boy" Download, listen and enjoy.
