Topping the African Music industry with one of Africa's biggest collaboration with the West in 2015 is top Nigerian music art from the HKN Gang stables "Davido" in his song titled "Fans Mi" featuring ace American rapper "Meek Mills" from the Maybach music group/ Dream Chasers Records imprint.

Now the visuals to the song has generated a bit of a stir as allegedly the National drug law enforcement agency of Nigeria (NDLEA) has signified it's interest in the video and the substances which were portrayed in the video which was made to look like it was cocaine.

But here's how I interpreted the "Fans mi" video, although the concept is a bit of a stretch for the average Nigerian mind.

To me the video tells a tale of Davido an indigenous Nigerian man managing to make a transaction with a sort of drug peddling organization selling to them a traditional flour like delicacy either semovita or pounded yam in place of the drugs which obviously they had expected.

Which would explain why at the end of the video he sat down to enjoy a plate of whatever it was that he had packaged in those sachets.

But the debates remains, Cocaine? Or Pounded yam/Semovita.

While we are gonna go with our explanation of the video and laud Davido for his creativity. We still keep our ears peeled for more theories some of which are just totally hilarious.
