We took a break to work for our passion!!!

Image
Life is full of not just personal traumas but you also have to deal with the responsibilities that comes with being a good friend to your friends, a good child to your parents, a good member of the community you find yourself in and a whole lot of politics. Photo credit: Google images So I took a few days off of being the me that I'm used to and I went out into the crowd to try and get a different view of what life is to most people. Photo credit: Google images LIFE TO ME IS ALL ABOUT LOVE Love for food, love for drinks, love for the trees and skonk, love for my family and friends and the women who make life seem a bit interesting, but most of all love for MUSIC. Photo credit: Google images So we took a break but that's only what it was, doing back breaking work to survive just so we can continue with our love for music and writing all about it. When you listen to a song that speaks your mind.

Photo credit: Google images Some times I feel she doesn't know my worth, so I finally decided to let her go. But in a moment of weakness I called her back trying to see if it's a fault of mine that I could fix. Then on my way to work a song shuffled on my playlist. J'Cole's "Is she gon pop?" Photo credit: Google images So I'm like thank God she's a rapper, she really needs to listen to the lyrics of this song. Young John--- Photo credit: Google images The first time I listened to the work of "Young John the wicked producer" was with Olamide's "Story for the gods". From a Distance. "What do you see?"

Image
Have you ever before stand alone in the midst of a crowd for some minutes just observing the life happening around you? Photo credit: Google images You see people busy everywhere going about their various businesses, some looking sad, some looking happy, some looking stressed and some with blank expressions on their faces. Made me wonder what God sees when he looks down at the earth. Photo credit: Google images Then I stumbled on a song from the greatest hits by Bette Midler titled "From a distance". Photo credit: Google images Though new on my playlist, it's one song which has been receiving massive play on repeat. So like I always do here's a link for y'all to go download and listen to Bette Midler's "from a distance". PLEASE BE SOCIABLE: LIKE, FOLLOW AND SHARE OUR POSTS Tweet Follow @SAGE_BEATS

Korede Bello takes it to the head, coins new phrase.

Image
There are just two words we Nigerians use to classify our promising and talented music artists in the Nigerian music industry. There are those called "Upcoming artists" and there are artists who have "Blowed". Photo credit: Google images But irrespective of that, we all play and listen to the music we love, whether it trends on social media, receives massive air play or not. Photo credit: Google images But here's one Nigerian music artist who doesn't want to stick to the Nigerian branding but instead has fashioned out a new lingua by which he wants to be referred. Photo credit: Google images Mavins Korede Bello has decided that being called an upcoming artist is not a title which he fancies, so coining out a term from the popular Mavins hit song "Dorrobucci" he wants instead to be referred to as a "Mega Super star". Photo credit: Google images Korede Bello has started it, so now all we've got to do is...

if music was ice cream, "Beyonce" would be my "Vanilla.

Image
Photo credit: Google images It was 100 level UNIBEN when I first got introduced to the music of American RnB singer Beyonce. Photo credit: Google images As a means of getting closer to a crush, I had promised her that I'd configure her mobile phone to a hack trick that provided internet access free of charge. And while I had access to her phone, I took a look through her playlists and transferred a few of her music over to my own playlist and that's the story of how I first got Beyonce on my playlist. Photo credit: Google images I happen to love music same way most girls happen to love ice cream. So I thought about it and like ice cream I found out that music can also be categorized into different flavours. My memories of Ice cream centers around the Vanilla flavour so that's my love in ice cream flavours. Photo credit: Google images I also happen to love it a lot when Beyonce sings, so when compared to Ice cream, "Beyonce" become...

You "Take Kare" when you rocking to the Rich Gang.

Image
Photo credit: Google images I got a call to come run shop at my mum's boutique and believe me, running shop is one hell of a boring task because its just you sitting down behind a counter waiting for some one with some sense of style to walk in. Photo credit: Google images But I thank God everyday for my ever growing playlist, but here's a warning and do take it seriously if you're a fan of hiphop music. Here's one group you might want to beware about, it's the merger of two super groups Young money and cash money group to form a new hiphop music super power now called the "Rich Gang". Photo credit: Google images Okay I was keeping shop and like I said earlier, that's one hell of a very boring exercise. So naturally I turned to my playlist for some company and it spat out a Rich Gang's song titled "Take Kare" which had me so high I had to play on repeat. Photo credit: Google images So I'd do what I...

But this night is special, I've got it playing on repeat while I'm typing on my keyboards trying to get this post together. Photo credit: Google images I have no idea what is being said Although I read the lyrics of the song on the internet. But here's the ish, I just went out alone tonight because my date who was supposed to go with me decided to change her mind at the last minute. So bored of being out alone, I decided to retire back home and that's when I turned to my playlist for some consolation and got hit by DJ Ganyani's "Xigubu" featuring Fb and just couldn't help but to play it on repeat through out the drive back home up until now as I write this post. so here's a link for you to go download and listen to "Xigubu" by Dj Ganyani featuring FB PLEASE BE SOCIABLE: LIKE, FOLLOW AND SHARE OUR POSTS ...

When gods walk on the earth they make sure their existene is never forgotten.

Image
Photo credit: Google images Was listening to a Jay Z's song titled "Crown" off of the "Magna Carta...Holy Grail" album, and the intro of the song spells out my very mentality. "You are in the presence of a King, no scratch that you are in the presence of a god. Photo credit: Google images King of the hiphop game and god of the game in some circles, HOVA speaks the minds of more than a million fans who lack the talent to do so for themselves. Photo credit: Google images gods have in the past been recorded to have walked the earth amongst men. Leading a life so exemplary they prove to mere mortals that nothing is really impossible. But on earth each gods are only limited to one path, beating every day life's time loop to grow into a most successful human being. So please do yourself a favour and grow your mind, download and listen to Jay z "Crown" PLEASE BE SOCIABLE: LIKE, FOLLOW AND SHARE OUR POSTS Tweet Fo...
